How did Buck’s relationship with John Thornton differ from his relationships with his previous masters? How does London illustrate Buck’s intense feelings for Thornton?

    Buck likes John because John makes sure Buck is treated right and lets Buck run free for a little while.

    John was nicer than his other masters and John gave him stuff that his other masters did not.
